The landing page.
One thing you need to know about Google is that their landing page policies are very strict. Here is what Google wants to see on your landing page and as I said before they are very strict so you can’t just go throwing up a video page. They want to see specific things or they are going to disapprove your ad.
What they want to see from you is a content rich page with lots of useful information. They wish to see footer links, things like privacy policy, disclaimers, terms and conditions; they want to see your contact page. They want to see a page that exists only to get the opt in like a squeeze page or only to link people to another page which should be like a bridge page that is just nothing but a sheet filled out with affiliate links. So our goal is to do a few things at once. We want a landing page that:
- gets us tons of opt-ins,
- build huge credibility with our audience and
- makes Google happy
Like a niche blog, the down side of it is that is not going to get as many opt-ins as say a traditional squeeze page. So make sure, that you pick a theme that is designed to be sort of like the perfect marriage between high content blog and a squeeze page, and it is going to give you the ability to deliver really high-quality content to your audience but without sacrificing your ability to get opt-ins.
Finally, once you got the ads and landing page took care of, we need to setup our campaign.
